When you really think about it, what is it that makes you feel like you’ve had a good day? … and when you string a few of those together, a good week, and a good month?
It just occurred to me what mine is so I thought I’d share it. When this is in place, I can have a shitty day at work (which is rare) and it doesn’t really matter, I still feel happy. Here we go:
- Food in the fridge
- Full, or close to full tank of petrol
- My desk clear
- My apartment tidy
- Progress with something
That is it. Nothing else matters. The most important one is progress. We as humans always need to feel like we’re making things happen in order to feel successful.
